Who we are

What we collect
There are really only two things:
- Your email address, when you sign up for our newsletter. You give this to us on purpose, and only when you choose to.
- Standard technical information that almost every website logs automatically, like your IP address, browser type, and which pages you viewed. Our hosting provider records this to keep the site running and secure.
We do not run user accounts, and you cannot make a payment on this site, so we never collect passwords or card details here.
How we use it
- To send you the event and specials emails you signed up for.
- To keep the website running, fast, and secure.
That is the whole list. We do not sell your information.
Our email provider
We use Kit (ConvertKit) to store our newsletter list and send our emails. When you sign up, your email address is stored with Kit. You can read how they handle data in the Kit privacy policy.
We keep your email on our newsletter list until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.
Other services on this site
To keep things working and useful, a few outside services are part of this site. When you use them or click out to them, their own privacy policies apply:
- Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website (and records the standard technical logs noted above).
- Google Maps powers the embedded map of our location. Viewing the map may let Google set its own cookies.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces the site uses.
- order.online / DoorDash handles online food ordering. The "Order Online" button takes you off our site to DoorDash, where their terms and privacy policy govern.
Cookies and storage
We set no advertising and no analytics cookies. We are not tracking you around the web. The only thing this site stores in your browser is a small note in "session storage" that remembers when you have dismissed the "Happening Today" banner, so it does not keep popping back up. The embedded Google Maps may set its own cookies, as noted above.
If we ever add website analytics or any tracking tool in the future, we will update this section to say what it is and why.
Your choices and unsubscribing
Every newsletter email has a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it and you are off the list. You can also email us at waddellslonghorn@gmail.com and we will remove you.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top. The current version is dated June 2026.
